A photographic story of life beneath the Flightpath

The increase in air traffic and new marshalling paths mean that more people across London are
affected by aircraft noise and pollution. A number likely to rise with the potential 3rd runway
expansion planned at Heathrow airport.

The people under the flightpath have had air traffic above them for many years, their lives and
routines being altered and dictated by the passing aircraft. This series of images documents the
communities of Hatton and Cranford near Heathrow, where the scale, prevalence, and invasive
nature of escalating air traffic is felt most.
